Scandinavia's heaviest festival is returning for the third year in a row, bringing crushing levels of Doom, Sludge and Stoner to cloak Copenhagen in darkness the first weekend of May!

 The festival is organized by the association "Undergrundsmusikkens Fremme" (translated: Underground music promotion) based in Copenhagen, Denmark.

The festival is structured by the DIY principles of the association. It is a volunteer based event, meaning that the organizers, the bands and the people working at the festival are not making a profit. We want to provide a great weekend of heavy music and good times, and also to promote the DIY principles within the Doom community.
 
Besides music, we have invited great artists to feature their work at the festival. There will be installations, visual gallery and more exhibited before and during the festival to broaden the experience of Heavy Days beyond the music alone.

The artwork for HDDT 2014 is once again done by the amazing 13th Sign Collective from Berlin! As some of the bright minds out there might have noticed, 2013's visual theme was water. HDDT III, 2014 will be the year of fire, and the artwork has been inspired by old myths and stories connected to the fire theme and the mighty sun. The fire theme is the third of the "four elements of the world" which have been presented over the course of the last 2 years. We hope you enjoy the creativity of these great ladies as much as we do!
